Mr. Jay S Kamdar incorporated J.T. Calcutta Arms LLP an Arms and Ammunition dealer in Kolkata. All sort of branded and imported arms consists of semi-automatic, fully-automatic pistols, revolvers, double-barrel guns, and rifles are available in the showroom which is located on the ground floor of 21/4, Aswini Dutta Road, Kolkata 700029.
In 2018
Mr. Jay S Kamdar took his first step in to finance sector by taking over a 60-year-old Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) namely Supreme Credit Corporation Limited thus adding another feather to his hat.
In 2018
Mr. Jay S Kamdar took over Ganguram Mithaiwala, a renowned packaged snacks manufacturer and supplier in Kolkata, thus adding FMCG into his list of businesses. Currently, the products are available all over West Bengal at Spencers Mart and online at BigBasket.
In 2019
Mr. Kamdar took over Raj Hotel (Raj) a famous South Indian restaurant and hotel in South Kolkata that also offers a range of salivating western vegetarian cuisine. This includes Raj’s famous vegetarian pizzas, prepared with pride and passion using the freshest of cheese, vegetables, and other ingredients.
At the time of the lockdown
It came to his mind that he needs to create a business where he will be able to generate more jobs for those who have lost their livelihood due to the pandemic and lockdown. He also realized that there is an essential need for good security. Thus, he came up with the idea of opening a security service provider agency. He launched Sun Guard Securities in 2021, aiming to provide quality security services in Kolkata.
